While Karie and Steven were out of town for Christmas, Nashville was experiencing extremely cold temperatures. As a result, the pipes and sprinklers froze and burst in one of the apartmetns above them and flooded everything with floor to ceiling damages. 

They returned as soon as possible but due to flight delays they were not able to get back until the day before New Years Eve. 

They have lost everything big such as mattresses, dressers, chairs, as well as been displaced into a short term rental.
