We are often the first responders when emergency housing, provisions, and assistance is necessary for refugees and their families. When traumatic circumstances change someone's life and they're forced to leave their home and all that's familiar, they find themselves defenseless and hopeless in a culture and nation they don't understand, have never been, and know no one. You can be the hero-stranger that steps in and reignites that spark of hope for the night and even their future.
