HFF Literacy Program- Compass
We know that reading opens a young child’s imagination, their curiosity, and hunger for knowledge. We also know that reading increases success later in life. Our Compass Literacy Program offers both youth and adult students the opportunity to learn in a safe environment that meets them where they are in their journey in literacy.
Whether we serve an adult who has little or no basic literacy skills, or a child who is an English learner that needs a little boost to help their grades in school, our program is designed to meet the students at their level and assist them in gaining proficiency with language skills. The Compass Program includes classes in Basic Adult Literacy, Computer Literacy for Adults, Tutoring for Youth, Bilingual Community Story Times, and Adult English Classes.
